Welcome to the fairsnape newsletter, by me, Martin Brown.

I set up this newsletter as a dedicated space for our regenerative journey, as a round up of news and publications, linking nature, ecology, carbon, place, justice … with a focus on the built environment and the nexus with regenerative practices within other sectors.

At the end of 2021 the UK hosts COP26. What is the sustainability image of our built environment? despite sustainability efforts, it remains a (40%) contributor to the climate and ecological crisis. A regenerative future seeks to reverse this to a (40%) contributor to solutions.

This newsletter will focus on the journey we need to make, from ‘ego’ (business as usual) through ‘eco’ (reducing impact), to ‘seva’ - a worldview mindset needed to make real regenerative progress.

This newsletter, planned to be fortnightly, will collate and provide a narrative from stories, news, reports and articles, from fairsnape, from the zoom regenerative series, from research, from best practice and from across numerous social media channels.

Sign up now so you don’t miss the first issue.

In the meantime, tell your friends!
