Connect with 'Regen Notes' on 'Substack Notes'
Hello and welcome to Regen/Notes1
Join Regen Notes on Substack Notes
Recently launched Substack Notes is a feature that could change how we use social media. It reminds me of the early days of Twitter when it was a breath of fresh air, before becoming cluttered and confusing.
Substack are promoting Notes as a space where Substack authors and writers can share links, images, quick ideas, and snippets that don't fit into the newsletter format, and for quick sharing of thoughts or questions.
I see Substack Notes as a space to complement Regen Notes, sharing regenerative extracts and quotes, as well as links, stories, and articles that inspire, but, may not make it into the newsletters. Additionally, I'll be sharing more thoughts and images from explorations, walks and cycles in the Forest of Bowland and beyond.
To access Substack Notes, Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to Regen/Notes, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance. Looking forward to seeing you there!

The Next Zoom Regenerative - ZR55
Following on from the last zoom regenerative we stay in Scotland for ZR55 to hear from Dr John Ennis sharing insights from his work at Journeys in Design. Tuesday 25th April 2023.
This is set to be an exciting ZR that will include a short meditation, an into the "soil sea and streets" approach for Journeys in Design, a "walk" along two streets to discuss what biophilia might mean, and an introduction to Patrick Geddes as the inspiration behind Concrete Design to Thrive.
Plus our meet & greet speed breakouts with great regenerative conversations ...
Zoom Regenerative 54
A recap of the ZR54 edition John Muir Way's Greening Study
Greenwashing
We have created the increase in Greenwashing through confusing and poorly defined sustainability words.
As part of the Guardian sustainable fashion series, Closet Clinic, there is an interesting greenwashing glossary: what do ‘circular’, ‘sustainable’ and ‘zero waste’ really mean? Vague, technical-sounding terms are often used in fashion to make clothing sound environmentally conscious.
In the 2021 Anti-Greenwashing Playbook produced by Content Coms, I noted in the introduction …
"#Transparency is key ... in the climate sustainability arena we have created such a confusing array of terms of definitions that we have also provided a mask for green-washers and green-wishers to hide behind"
And // Or … if you enjoy Regen Notes you could simply buy a coffee. Thank you.
